Got up late, showered, soup, tea, rain, went to Glenelg, ambled up and down the main street, stopped for a chai latte and a rather gigantic piece of carrot cake, bought an excellent pair of green leather ankle boots, back through town, marveled at the many umbrellas, hoped it might stop raining tomorrow, home for tea, pasta and plans for Friday.

Got up late, rain, walked down to main street of Angaston, discovered 22 year old walking shoes both leaked, returned to cottage where all soggy footwear was removed and shoes hurled into bin. Have been on couch under mohair rug ever since, and will think twice before venturing out tomorrow. Love you South Australia.
Oh dear…poor shoes…we are bravely venturing to hahndorf tomorrow. Rain, hail or whatever! Tis very cold though isn't it?
