I opened up Spotify for the first time in months this morning thinking I would start using it on a regular basis. It looked like it would take a long, long time to get rid of the rubbish recommendations and set up playlists so I closed it again. Perhaps later.

So I returned to my faithful iTunes and selected Top 25 Most Played. Here are my top 5 at the moment:

1. The Avett Brothers – Live and Die

2. Stevie Wonder – For Once in My Life

3. The Mamas and the Papas – Dancing in the Street

4. The Cure – Friday I’m in Love

5. The Band – The Weight

So I guess I’m not really hip to contemporary musical grooves but I think I am hip. Perhaps.
