“Rise and shine campers, and don’t forget your booties, because it’s cold out there today…..”
(cue music : sonny and cher)
I wonder how many more days of winter we have here. And no groundhog to help me out!
It’s freezing inside and outside and I’m wearing my England coat which is pretty warm, although it’s disadvantage is it doesn’t cover my hands.
Perhaps I can get warm with random Bill Murray quotes….

I feel your pain. I’ve only lived in Brisbane for eight years, but I don’t remember anything like this cold snap. There’s something immoral about living in Queensland and being freezing.
yes indeed..the lovely city i live in markets itself as a “subtropical” paradise. these last few days have definitely been the “sub” rather than the “tropical”
Of course, I keep getting snarky comments from New South Welsh friends saying, “You think you’re cold?” You can’t win: live in Queensland, and people refuse to believe you’re ever cold. Still, at least it’s sunny.
Yes, beautiful outside today.
At least in QLD we can usually win the heat contest: ie. “You think you’re hot” – unless of course we’re talking to someone from the real tropics!
Of course we are cold in Bundy there is no heat in the buildings!!!! Give me the northern hemisphere– cold outside but toasty warm inside. There we just whinge about the price of heating oil. It has given us all a chance to dig out those winter woolies– which we never wear out since we only wear them a half dozen times a year.
that’s true…i do like wearing my scarves!
