You know what – I just don’t think this is a good idea. There are some things in music that should remain as they are and not be tampered with in any way, shape, or form and I think The White Album is one of them.
I’ve never seen what all the fuss about is with You Am I either.
Yet again, I find myself a traitor to my Generation X stereotype. Oh well.
Feeling a bit tired and cranky pants today it seems too.

It is Just Wrong. I have enough issues with them re releasing almost all the Beatles’ albums in hi-fi or some such thing later this year. They should leave well enough alone. Hope your cake was a proper restorative!!!
Just Wrong (capitals required)…and the cake was very good indeed…however after writing this post I felt like a hypocrite because found a youtube video of rufus wainwright, moby and sean lennon singing across the universe and liked it.
i think it is the people involved in the white album project that enhanced my objection to perhaps. Am I allowed to have contradictory viewpoints on beatles’ covers? I mean – one song okay if you do it nicely…whole album no good if I say so?! According to the musical laws of Wendy of course. 😉
