A thoughtful friend shared this with me. I liked it so I am sharing it with you.

I think there is a difference between being alone and being lonely. One can be alone, yet not be lonely, and one can be in a crowd and feel lonely.I like going to the pictures alone and eating brunch, tea and cake, alone. It is quite liberating. I hope Friday is behaving now.
you're right there is a big difference. I needed reminding of that.
a few panadol got Friday morning sorted although the assignment marking continues….
Very true, the difference between the two states of loneliness and being alone. Perhaps Friday was upset by the date and was sharing its distress? I'm sharing your headache and appreciate you writing to Friday on our behalf.
I didn't even think of the possible disturbance of the date! Perhaps that was the explanation. I do hope your headache is gone now.Anytime you need a letter written to a day of the week I'm happy to oblige. 🙂
Alone/lonely – True! I felt so lonely being in the same room as my husband when our marriage was failing. Now that I am living alone, I have not once felt lonely. Love it! (Just popping in – hope you don't mind. ^_^ )
Kate- Welcome! Pop in anytime you like 🙂
That is sad news about your marriage but good to hear you are happy alone!
