Finally my flood damaged music room was completely ready to set back up this week after the last of O’Reilly’s men traipsed through the house leaving a trail of dirty footprints behind them. In all fairness though they were quick, efficient and did everything they said they were going to. I was so relieved when it was all finished. This morning was spent with my seemingly inexhaustible parent helpers moving books out of cupboards back onto bookshelves, cleaning, throwing out stuff I didn’t need, putting music back into the big cupboard and so on and so forth. This afternoon my Dad popped back to hang some prints. The highlight of the day was the 40 dollar table which my father found at the second hand shop. It’s the perfect size for the room and for teaching up to two students theory at anyone time. It also matches the chairs I already have and is not going to be ruined by books and pencil cases but still looks respectable. And best of all – IT WAS ONLY 40 DOLLARS.
