It’s quarter to ten at Brisbane airport and we’re about to get on the second leg of our trip. The first was Bundaberg to Brisbane. That’s less than an hour. I was surprised to get a free snack and drink as it was a Virgin flight. We have spent the last 8 hours waiting in Brisbane…some at the airport…some at portside eating lovely pizza. We made it through customs without incident and our clear plastic bags of liquids and gels all passed the test. As usual I got the scanning/bomb test. The customs people were nothing like those on Border Security. Now we are negotiating flight socks, earplugs, chewing gum, bottles of water, devices in flight mode and all sorts of other travelling its and pieces. Lets just hope for some sleep on the flight. I’m looking forward to a shower at Changing airport already.

I think you look a little wild eyed, is that why they chose you?? It is a lot of palaver now, but I suppose it is the world we live in now.
